Jon Sankar is an artist who has been at it since 1986 where he could barely hold a crayon.
He started drawing comic book covers, skateboard art and band art. He would eventually start drawing lots of monsters and portraits in his adolescent days.
Shortly out of high school, in 2001, he started to get heavily tattooed and also started studying tattoos. He began doing the occasional tattoo here and there until eventually he landed a professional old school apprenticeship.
Today Jon Sankar specializes in black and grey realism and black and grey Neo traditional style and the rest is history.
