My art style ranges from new-age American traditional to fine line illustrative tattoos. I draw a lot of inspiration from old school cartoons and advertisements. When I was growing up I loved cartoons such as The Simpsons, Spongebob and Looney Tunes. It made me fall in love with character design - i love creating things that spark joy and brings people back to their warm and fuzzy adolescence! When I get the opportunity to tattoo something meaningful, cute and or nostalgic, I’m living my dream :) Maggie wrote, directed and starred in her own indie short film called “Silver Moon” in 2021 and was awarded 2 grants from The Winnipeg Film Group. Maggie performed at folk fest twice in 2022 and 2023 with the Young Performers Program. She also has a 6 song EP and 3 singles released on Apple Music and Spotify under her full name, Maggie Collins.
